On September 28, 2023, the Visual Arts area co-hosted a lunch discussion titled "Black Art & the Multi-View of Experience" with Michelle Y. Huyn, Director of ICA, and Diversity Officer Winnie Wilson. The event featured Dr. Peggy Blood, a professional artist and veteran educator with over 25 years of experience, as the guest speaker. The discussion attracted a large audience of students, staff, and faculty, who engaged in thought-provoking conversations about the diverse perspectives in Black art.
